FAQs
While paper towels are wonderful for cleaning up spills, they do a terrible job on glass. Because they are made of tiny paper fibers, they leave a residue of lint and fuzz all over your otherwise clean glass. No one wants to spend valuable time cleaning glass only to end up with a lint-covered mess. The best cloth to use to get a streak-free, lint-free clean is microfiber. That is why inShield Wiper® has a microfiber covered pad for cleaning. Microfiber is safe to use on all types of glass including electronic touchscreens, computer monitors and TVs. It is also excellent to use on stainless steel. In addition, paper towels can contain dyes, inks, fragrances, chlorine bleach, formaldehyde, adhesives, and other toxic chemicals.
inShield Wiper® is a patented cleaning device that makes using microfiber more effective and easier. Microfiber is the best cleaning cloth available, and inShield Wiper® uses the highest quality microfiber. It is the patented design of inShield Wiper® that takes cleaning with microfiber to the next level. Because of the unique design of inShield Wiper®, the pressure from your hand or knuckles is evenly distributed resulting in the entire microfiber pad staying in contact with the surface being cleaned at all times. This provides a quicker, more comfortable, streak-free cleaning experience.
Most of the time you can use inShield Wiper® dry, as it does an excellent job of cleaning smudges and fingerprints without the need for any water or cleaning liquid. There are times when you might find you have a stubborn smudge (like puppy kisses or messy, dried fingerprints) where using some water or your favorite cleaner is needed. When this is the case, make sure you spray the liquid directly onto the inShield Wiper® microfiber pad and then clean the surface. This is especially true for cleaning electronic screens. You should NEVER spray liquid directly onto an electronic screen.
Yes, you can wash the inShield Wiper® microfiber pad and put it in the dryer. But remember, you should never use fabric softener (either in the washer or the dryer) because this is harmful to microfiber.
